Reyes Signs for Atletico Madrid

Tuesday, 31 July 07, 08:16 AM

Well, good riddance to bad Reyes.

He's cried and moaned and whinged like a little baby for years now, and really needs to grow up and act like a professional. Arsenal paid a lot of money for him, and he basically put them in a position where they had absolutely no bargaining power and every club in the world knew this.

He's signed for Atletico for about €9 million, which is pitiful considering his talent and ability, and that he was valued at almost £14 million (approximately €20 million) when he went on loan to Real last season.

He always gave 100% on the pitch for Arsenal, even though he played like shit for a lot of it, and although he's never said anything bad about the club, his acting like a sissy has cost them in the transfer market. He's nearly 25 now, and needs to stop behaving like a lost, little boy. After crying all year round about the weather and how he wouldn't play in England again, he's gotten his wish, but at the expense of Arsenal. It's sad, especially when Arsene Wenger showed so much faith in him and gave him so much support.

Anyways, good luck to you Reyes. Hopefully he can make use of his incredible talent and stop crying in the media every other day.

And of course we have some leaked photos for you:

SM,your posting regarding Reyes is spot on,the mummy's boy was never the same when man utd kicked him off the park at old traffold-infact he was couldn't handle the phyiscal side of the English game
at all,i think he should stayed at Arsenal with Wenger who would have brought the best out of him but i have feeling he's going to waste his talent

Reyes, to me, is stupid. I clearly remember, back on the last few weeks of La Liga, Jose Antonio Reyes said, and I quote "I don't want to go back to London. I want to stay here and play at Real
Madrid." This guy said he wanted to play in REAL, but he transfers to their city rivals, Atletico. What an idiot.

Look Real got stuck playing hard ball with Arsenal and thought they could pull a fast one there. Arsenal came back and almost sent Reyes to Lyon, which would have made him an even more unhappy
camper. Atletico pulled a fast one on their city rivals and made Real eat shit. Gotta love it! I hope Reyes does well there but beware the dressing room drama/curse. Reyes still has alot of potential
IMO and alot to give. Buena suerte JAR.

its funny that he ended up signing with AM, Reyes just joined the ranks of Raul, Hugo Sanchez, Juanito Gomez, Bernd Schuster. He has to add attacking support to the team with Forlan, since NiNo and
petrov went out the club.
