New interview and new shows

Monday, 12 November 07, 12:16 PM

Hey guys, both podcasts on rounds 10 and 11 are ready for your listening pleasure. Listen on our myspace page, or go to serieatalk.com and laligatalk.com.

We have an interview with John Foot, author of Calcio: A History of Italian Football, published in the United States as Winning at All Costs, it is a comprehensive history of Italian football from its origins as an English import, the re-branding of it to create an imagined connection with Calcio Fiorentino (an ancient Italian foot game), and up to the minute that Calciopoli hit. Enjoy, 'cause this one's a long one.

New shows, new format

Tuesday, 07 August 07, 05:41 AM

As most of you know our show Forza Futbol covered Spanish and Italian futbol. We would like to welcome you all to join us in two new shows. La Liga Talk and Serie A Talk. Both La Liga Talk and Serie A Talk are going to have interviews with people in the footballing world. Look for those interviews to start in a few weeks.

Forza Futbol will continue but with a slightly different format. Forza Futbol will be turning more into a world soccer podcast. This will allow us to talk more about different leagues and tournaments.

Please join us with kicking off the new shows. Send us an email at forzafutbol [at] forzafutbol.com with your comments and suggestions. We love to hear from you. We are looking for more emails for our show. Tell us about the games you saw over the weekend or some news that you want to discuss.
