So after another burst of activity a period of quiet breaks out over Weymouth and the football club again.
For those of you away from the town (such as myself) you can view a video of the press conference launching the new sponsorship deal by clicking here. Thanks to the Dorset Echo for putting that online.
Views remain mixed over the whole link up with Julia's House, but when John Hollins says he will ensure the players know what it means to have that charity's name on their jerseys you can be sure that he will be using all of his knowledge and experience to motivate his team.
And there is nothing wrong with reminding footballers about the large amount of role model responsibilities they have.
It's a very busy weekend for sport with the incredible tedium that is the British Grand Prix and even more dull Wimbledon.
Thank goodness for us cycling fans the Tour de France is starting !
Without wishing to digress too much on to another sport, I hope that this year we have a credible winner and that one or both of the Brits win a stage.
Speaking of cycling, I am off to brave a Huntingdonshire morning filled with high winds and rain... I love my training!!!
See you soon
