Barcelona Front is A little Cramped

Saturday, 28 July 07, 05:48 PM

Everyone has been talking about what Arsenal will do without Henry this season and who will they get to replace Henry... My opinion... and i know that i might end up getting somebody upset or offended in hearing this is that Arsenal will do just fine without Henry because they almost went a huge chunk of the season without him in 06-07... ofcourse you can argue that having only won the Carling Cup can't be considered completely successful by their standards but they have the ability to improve although it will be difficult.

Here is where i might offend some peeps... Now keep in mind that i like Barcelona... but i don't think that with all of the stars in their squad next season they will be able to keep half of them happy... or even content like last season... Believe it or not i think that Eto'o and Ronaldinho had some ego confrontations in 07 and they may or may not spark up again... but along with a healthy Messi... things can only get more cramped in front with another STAR STUDDED ego right??? well that's what i think.. and i also think that the only thing that can happen is someone will leave unhappy.

i have another question... was their another club that was interested in Ronaldinho??? i think it was in Serie A but maybe Juventes... do you think Ronaldinho will leave at the end of the year???

this is my first blog but feel free to disagree completely if ya do

i couldn't agree more with you,i'm a Arsenal supporter and i think with Henry gone, the youngster will be free to express themselves with getting those "looks" from Henry if or when the ball was not
passed to him

We have to remember that Barcelona is an attacking team and they would love to have 4 of the best forwards in their team... i think Barcelona will use 3 forwards and Ronaldinho as an attacking
midfielder...

No. Eto'o may have some problems with the boys at Barca, but he, himself, said that they will all try to work it out, for the relationship of the players and for the club. I've seen Ronaldinho in
real life, in New York, when they came to the States last summer for their USA Tour. I got an autograph from him. Let me tell you...there's no other human on this planet, that is more humble than
Ronaldinho. Messi, is also humble and Henry is too. i know my team will have no problems with "egos" or anything like that. Oh and about Ronaldinho leaving for Serie A...uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...NO! I
know my club VERY WELL, so it's as simple as that.

their confidence

We all make mistakes, UnitedFan005, that's life, my friend. Arsenal4life, I ain't Frank Rijkaard, (cause if I was, I'd be a manager and I'd better than Wenger. lol, no offense), but you can say what
you want about Henry. He is going to kill in La Liga and in Europe. Well, that's all I can say! lol.

does anyone think Barce needs Henry? I mean I think they are tremendous and I guess all teams do need to get better but really what was the point in getting Henry. He's great but for the past I don't
know how many years he's been a leader and now he's another star on a team full of them. Did Barce really need him? What was the point? Will he make a difference?

i guess barca is in the same position bayern is in... they have a crap load of depth... bayern needs to find space for toni, klose, ribery, and the youngster wagner... and lempira... anybody who can
quote cristiano ronaldo is fine by me haha

Bayern are fine, they have Toni, Klose and Podolski as three quality striking options, with Poldi giving them an option as a left-winger midfield or a 4-3-3. Ribery will have a roaming playmaker
role, and altintop and schweinsteiger will provide support/options as attacking midfielders. not sure why you think they need to find "place" for everyone - remember that this is bayern munchen, they
were champions of europe in 2001, and they deserve to have a world class squad after the shambles it became in the last 2 years. who is lempira?? and wagner is backup, he is 19, and has barely
played, so they don't need to worry about how to fit him in, and he is behind schlaudrauff in the pecking order anyways.

out: pizarro, makaay, scholl, salihamidzic, santa cruz, hargreaves, karimi in: altintop, ribery, luca toni, klose, sosa, jansen, ze roberto, schlaudraff. altogether they've lost 7 and signed 8. - in
fact they are still a bit short of depth.

inter is the place to go if you're a striker: you can fight for your place against crespo, adriano, ibrahimovic, recoba, and cruz.

No no no - try AC Milan. After being European Champions this past year, who is able to keep up their honor & tradition that they earned? THAT would be something to think about - who's able to
keep up a team after they went to the skies and win an important championship?

They didn't win the Carling Cup but they did get to the final.
