NOUMEA: The 18th round of New Caledonia's 2004 division d'honneur national premier league championship was postponed last weekend.

However, there was some soccer action in the New Caledonia Cup with two games played in the fifth round. The other games were postponed due to heavy rain.

JS Baco thrashed JS Ouvea 8-1 in the first Cup fixture while Mont Dore cruised past JS Tieta 4-1.

The championship continues this weekend with the playoff series looming close.
