A warm and lovely weekend to everyone, well not really everyone. Helb has finally come out with the biggest indication that he is leaving Arsenal. Niki Spilevski who is Helb's agent revealed
that the 27-year-old will leave North London this summer, following crunch talks with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
“I can officially confirm that a short time ago Alexander decided that he will leave Arsenal and join another club,” he said.
“Of course Arsenal and Arsene wanted him to stay but they have accepted the player’s choice.” Well not without some couple of millions is Arsenal account. Quit a huge loss the team and
hope his replacement { much rumored Nasri } goes one step higher than him in his goal scoring record for Arsenal hopefully just in the first half of the season. Wow how great that would
be.
Elsewhere as expected, Grant has been fired and that is with immediate effect. Wow, that sounds a military general's order...well as long as Chelsea is concerned, Roman Abramovich is definitely the 5-star general and his orders { Decree} are not to be questioned.
The second part of Chelsea's official communiqué pertained to the need to find a replacement. It read: "We will now be concentrating all our efforts on identifying a new manager for Chelsea and there will be no further comment until that appointment is made.
Rumours show that Frank Rijkaard and Inter's Manchuni has all been tipped to replace Grant. We shall see about
European and World Footballer of the Year Kaka has expressed his diappointment at not being at the Olympics . He says ; "I did everything I possibly could so that I could play at the
Olympics,” stressed the 26-year-old.
“I made myself available. However, AC Milan have decided otherwise, and I have accepted it.” You have to agree with Milan that he shouldn't be allowed to play at the games. He has surgery to
undertake { which he doesn't look forward to } and need time to recover from that { which he hopes would be in a month }. Health issues aside, I think Kaka should believe he has outgrown that
and think more about adding the world come winners' medal to his collection.
Thats all about soccer issues for the weekend. Until tomorrow...sit back, relax and enjoy the weekend.

Man utd have lifted the Champions League trophy today ahead of Les Blues....or rather Ferdinand lifted the trophy ahead of John Terry..or would I say Ronaldo C lifted the trophy today ahead of Drogba ?? Which ever comes first..the red shirts definitely came out tops.
I must admit that Man Utd for a while reminded me of Arsenal. They payed for their sloppiness as Chelsea came from behind to equalize at 1-1. They had so many chances to bury the game during the first half but preferred to wait until penalties before handing Chelsea a well deserved " silver medal " for their gallant fight which almost saw them run away with the title ..one which would have left a very bitter taste in my mouth, other than the sour taste I have from United's victory.
From me and the rest of the Emirate empire, we say a Big congratulations to Sir Alex and his United team. thumbs up...but don't keep this up cause its our turn next!!!

It might be calm and quite at the Emirate stadium but definitely not same at the vendors' table across the street. In a quite trilling news, Arsene Wenger is making more than anticipated / usual transfer moves. Its making the rounds that PSG midfielder Clement Chantome is attracting interest from Arsenal.
Chantome was one of the few PSG players to come out of last season with any plaudits after a string of impressive displays in central midfield. The 22-year-old has been likened to Mathieu Flamini and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is reported to have met with the France Under-21 international in the last week.
The rush for the signature of our player maker Helb seems to be heating up .Real Madrid rival Barcelona, Inter for his boots. AS says Hleb's agents have been made aware of the interest of Real sports director Pedja Mijatovic through a high-level intermediary. Barca chief Txiki Begiristain has already held a round of talks with Hleb's minders.
However, Inter are regarded as favorites for Hleb after coach Roberto Mancini admitted his admiration for the versatile midfielder last week. It does seem though that our man Fancy's the taste of Italian ice cream to any around the world. Does that mean inter is his next destination?? we would have to wait and see. We definitely could cash in on the big man..did I hear you say £15 million...cool huh Here is a big one...
Arsenal have clinched a deal for Olympique Marseille star Samir Nasri, it has been revealed. L'Equipe says Nasri could sign a Gunners contract today before joining the France squad in Clairefontaine later this evening. The Gunners have struck terms over a £10 million deal, with Nasri to put pen to paper on a four-year Gunners contract. { Still yet to confirm that even though a side comment news flash on Euro sport seems to agree to that for £15 million . I think there is going to be a deal but believe the price would be a little higher than that.
Truthfully I am still finding it hard to see where Nasri would fit in for Arsenal, especially if the deal with Ben Arfa is anything to go by. Are we to play 4-3-1-2 now ? with Nasri being the "1 " in that formation. Almost forgot, Fat Albert Usmanov is weighing up making a demand for answers from the board this summer.
The Daily Mail says Usmanov, Arsenal's biggest shareholder, will be having strategy talks in Moscow with representatives of his Red & White holding company, including the chairman David Dein, to decide their next move in the Emirates Stadium power battle.
This follows Red & White's annoyance at unsatisfactory answers from the Arsenal board to their questions about the real reason for the departure of managing director Keith Edelman, who was hurried out of the building.
I think I could do with hearing the true story if there are other reason other than been published. A man wakes up one morning, packs his bag and leave a stunning home which he has built for years..hmmm..no smoke without a fire right ???
Some more summer fever coming up soon.
