The XIII South Pacific Games – Samoa 2007 is the first stage of Oceania Football Confederation’s pathway to the Olympic Games Women’s football tournament in Beijing, China, 2008.
Ten teams from across the region will gather at Samoa’s Toleafoa J.S.Blatter Playing Field to not only compete for South Pacific Games medals – but a coveted Olympic Games qualifying play-off against Oceania champions New Zealand.
The South Pacific Games gold medallists will face New Zealand in a two-legged playoff to decide Oceania’s representative at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Women’s Football Tournament.
