The Czech Republic, led by Captain Tomáš Rosický, and Head Coach Karel Bruckner will be competing in group A of the UEFA Euro 2008. Overseen by Czech Football association the team plays most of its important matches out of AXA Arena, located in Prague. Marek Jankulovski, the left back from A.C Milan and Petr Čech, goalkeeper for Chelsea FC are amongst the stars on the Czech National Team. In 1976, when the Czech Republic and Solvakia were still united as one country, the team won its only European National Championship. Soccer legends Pavel Nedvěd and Karel Poborský were some of the players that have worn the famous white kits.
