The OFC Policy and Procedures for Coaches defines the education methods and activities carried out by the Oceania Football Confederation. This predominantly covers the OFC Coach Education Schemes which, through continuous learning, will develop the knowledge of the participants. The OFC Coach Policy and Procedures for Coaches will be communicated to all Member Associations (MAs), to assist them in implementing the proposed educational system. OFC acknowledges the necessity to enhance its bilateral commitment by creating effective learning opportunities, facilitating education and development, and by actively supporting its MAs.
In turn, the MAs need to be proactive in the education of their coaches by prioritising their needs, using the support OFC provides to organise activities and create educational opportunities.
The OFC’s vision 2011/2018 has identified this programme as an immediate need to emphasize in order to support the players and coaches to the long term success and good health of our game.
