FULL TIME - NEW ZEALAND 5 PAPUA NEW GUINEA 2

New Zealand were slow to get out of the gates and made to pay by an exciting PNG attack. But PNG tired quickly and their defence became overworked by the New Zealand attack as the game went on. The introduction of Daniel Ellenshon brought with it more urgency for New Zealand and they equalised just before half time and never looked back.

It was a spirited display by PNG who will be proud of their performance and who had the crowd behind them the whole way
