About John Terry

John Terry has solidified himself as a solid asset to both his Premier League club Chelsea FC and the English national football team. Terry began his international career in 2003 in a friendly match, and has made his way to captain of the National team. John Terry is also the captain of Chelsea FC, and was voted best defender of the 2005 UEFA Champions League. In 2005 he was the PFA Player of the Year. His skill creates a virtual wall that many offenders have a problem with, and his pride for his team shines through in his leadership. He was part of the FIFPro World XI team for 2005, 2006 and 2007, being named one of the best players of the globe. He has also scored three international goals for the England national team.

Born in London and a youth player for Chelsea, John Terry has a dedicated fanbase with the club and was supported in his captaining of the English squad. Currently Terry has recorded the best ever defensive record for Chelsea and is the highest paid player in the Premier League.
