Our very first transfer saga. YAY! Hartlepool's 1 year extension now means Joel Porter is under contract for 1 more year. He can no longer leave under a free transfer unless the club release him. The problem is apparently the guy has sold his house and made it clear... Never say never

Just a small update, apparently Plan "A" still has some legs. Well the new look OleOle.com site has brought me out of my shell to express my news and views about NZ's best (and only) professional football team. Firstly a little about myself. I'm a local football fan who supports Arsenal when I'm not... Posted by UberGunner · Comments (1) Topics: Wellington Phoenix,Rumours and Transfers,New Zealand,Off The Field

Melbourne gets lucky in opener

Wellington Phoenix 2-2 Melbourne Victory - official A-League report. So Melbourne led 2-0 and blew it this afternoon and were ultimately lucky not to lose the game. With a myridad of chances through the first half, most of them falling to Danny Allsopp, Melbourne could have had the game...
