About Chivas USA
Club Deportivo Chivas USA - Chivas USA - is the sister team of Mexico's Club Deportivo Guadalajara. Both teams are popularly known as 'Chivas' in their respective countries. Chivas is Mexico's most famous and popular football club. Chivas USA started as a Major League Soccer expansion team in 2005, brings the passion of Chivas Mexico to the United States, along with a different approach and playing style.

Chivas USA plays teams in the MLS League and Reserve Division and the club brings one of Mexico's most famous brands to the MLS and to Southern California. Chivas USA features players and coaches from many different nations but similar to CD Guadalajara tries to play Mexican players as much as possible.
