Brøndby IF's homeground is Brøndby Stadium, which is situated in the Greater Copenhagen area. The stadium was rebuilt in 2000 and now has a total capacity of 26,000 spectators of which all can be seated.

The average attendance at Premiership matches is 16,000. The stadium record dates back to June 18th 2003 when 31,508 spectators attended the match against F.C. Copenhagen.

Stadium History

Brøndby Stadium has seen five major extensions in its 38 years of existence.

1965 - The Ground was laid out.

1970 - The ground opened for the first time.

1978 - First Stand erected seating 1,200 spectators under a cantilevered roof.

1980 - The ground is fitted with its first set of flood lights.

1982 - A stand for 5,000 standing spectators is erected opposite the main stand.

1990 - The standing stand is expanded to a hold a further 1,400 people as well as having a roof put on.

1992 - Two new Stands, each holding 5,500 people, are erected in each end of the ground taking the capasity to 20,000.

2000 - the Stadium was rebuild to take the capasity to 26,000 for European games and 29,000 for domestic games.

How to buy Tickets:
You can buy tickets to Brøndby IF's home matches at The Brøndby Shop which is located at Brøndby Stadium. Most matches are not sold out, and you can therefore pay your way in at the turnstiles. Gates normally open 1 and half hour before kick off.
