A great opportunity for a passionate individual to join OFC as a Consultant who loves sports, people and has an ability to manage capacity-building programmes for our Member Associations in the pacific region.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Highly experienced, this individual will play a crucial role in providing services to our Member Associations Services department with their primary focus to manage the MA Services programmes and operations resulting in increasing capacity building and efficiency within our member associations in football management and corporate governance.
This consulting role is a long-term assignment (initially for 12 months) with potential for extension subject to project needs.
MAIN DUTIES:
Project Management of MA services programmes
- Project manage all MA Services programmes and activities in line with MA Services KR and tasks within OFC Strategy in collaboration with HOD, partners and experts team delivering MA Services programmes and activities.
- Develop creative and innovative MA Services programmes in collaboration with the HOD, with the view to maximise impact on member associations corporate governance and management efficiency.
- Deliver a customer centric approach to all MA Services operations.
- Support on implementation of OFC Development Programmes and any relevant development programmes with all departments concerned and manage the delivery of the corporate governance segment of the programme.
- Prepare reports and presentations and any other information or analysis to be presented to HOD, OFC Senior management team, Executive Committee or as requested by HOD.
- Train and support OFC staff regarding MA Services programmes
- Ad-hoc duties/assignments as required by HOD.
Project management of Capacity Building programmes
- Lead, develop, implement and monitor MA services capacity-building programmes for member associations in collaboration with HOD, through e-learning support and activities (including but not limited to), GS Executive Programme, Football Management Certificate and Diploma, Strategy and Planning support and Benchmarks.
- Apply learning specific best practice source, produce or support others to create high quality and engaging blended, social and digital solutions.
- Manage interactions with OFC Learn team to implement capacity building programmes.
- Facilitate any OFC Learn platform interactions with users (manage day to day use of the e-learning system).
- Develop an approach for assessing the effectiveness of learning and development so that it can be evaluated and reported.
- Provide HOD with feedback regarding the programmes and activities.
- Ad-hoc duties/assignments as required by HOD.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated experience in project management including management of consultants.
- Experience in Project Management of Capacity Building Programmes
- Experience in People Management and/or Football Management
- Experience in building reports and working with supporting subject matters experts and stakeholders to co-create learning solutions.
- Effective planning and organising skills with excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Critical analytical thinking
- Passion to develop sport in Oceania region.
