Samoan stadium upgrades

With US$552,500 funding from FIFA Forward, Football Federation Samoa was able to upgrade its football stadium to improve operational, technical spaces and include accessibility for disability users to all spaces.

Exceptional project management and leadership from the Football Federation Samoa enabled the first fully accessible sports facility in the Oceania region.

The project came in under budget and was completed well ahead of schedule just in time for the hosting of the 2019 XVI Pacific Games.  The finished facility provides exceptional spaces for players and technical personnel, media tribunes and revenue generation source for the Football Federation Samoa.

Improvements included capacity of 750 people including full accessibility for disabled fans and staff, spacious and functional changing rooms and operational areas, and VIP and hospitality lounges.
