Mark Paston, Tim Brown, Tony Lochhead, Leo Bertos and Ben Sigmund will join Herbert at Westpac Stadium from 11am to 2pm for the club’s annual family focused open day.
The All Whites bowed out of the tournament last week after drawing matches with Slovakia, Italy and Paraguay.
“Our family open day at Westpac Stadium has always been incredibly popular with the fans and the return of our All Whites stars and coach Ricki Herbert will make this year’s event something extra special,” Phoenix interim chief executive Nathan Greenham says.
“We haven’t experienced this unbelievable sense of pride in New Zealand as a football nation for a long time and I still don’t think that we have quite grasped the magnitude of what the All Whites have achieved.”
There will be a range of fun football activities on offer while fans will also have the opportunity to experience what happens behind the scenes on game day. The Phoenix changing rooms will also be open for fans to explore.
The Phoenix have a friendly game against Argentinian giants Boca Juniors at Westpac Stadium on July 23.
