It follows the Ba men’s team winning the IDC in October, and creates another highlight for the club as they celebrate their 80th year of existence.
The Women’s IDC final was controlled by Ba for the most part, with goals to Cema Nasau and Luisa Tamanitoakula, in the 23rd and 64th minutes respectively, giving them a two-goal buffer at Govind Park.
Rewa had plenty of chances to lower the deficit – none better than a penalty on 50 minutes which went unconverted – but couldn’t wrestle their way back into the match.
Ba had advanced through to the final with a 1-0 defeat of Labasa in the semi-final, while Rewa overcame Lautoka 3-2 in penalty kicks.
