Lautoka increase national league lead

Lethal striker Osea Vakatalesau was at his usual best and claimed a hat-trick with goals in the 20th, 25th and 79th minutes at Garvey Park.
Jone Vonu Junior also struck in the 15th and 36th minutes to earn a brace.
Tavua’s cause was not helped when first choice goalkeeper Josaia Ratu was sent off just before halftime.
The beaten team’s consolation goal was scored in the second spell by Jone Salaweune.
The result is Lautoka’s eleventh win of the season and keeps them perched on the top of the table with 35 points.
Second-placed Ba lost ground on the leaders by falling to a 1-0 loss against Nadi on Friday night and now trail Lautoka by eight points.
Elsewhere, Suva put their disappointing 3-0 loss to Ba in the last round behind them to beat Labasa by the same scoreline at Subrail Park.
Suva welcomed back Esava Naqeleca who gave them the lead 21 minutes into the match. Joseph Nimariau and Tomasi Tuqalo added their names to the score sheet in the second half.
Rewa played two matches, beating Nasinu 2-0 and losing to the national U-20 side 1-0, while Navua triumped 2-0 over Nadroga.
