The Oceania Football Confederation has launched three new footballs with FIFA quality accreditation as part of its commercialisation programme.
In Pakistan to visit the factory which produces the footballs, OFC President David Chung says the new designs called the Elite Ball (FIFA approved), the Premier Ball (FIFA Inspected), and the OFC Futsal Ball (FIFA approved) caters for three areas of competition and development.
The OFC footballs will also be used for official OFC matches and competitions and in national leagues and development programmes across OFC and are competitively priced.
“It was interesting to see first-hand how the footballs have been made and tested.
“The launch of these new footballs for OFC with FIFA quality accreditation is the latest chapter of OFC football products produced by OFC Commercial Limited (OFC’s business arm).
“This enhances our presence as a supplier of apparel and football equipment in the Oceania region,” Chung says.
The Premier edition ball will be the official match ball of the OFC Champions League competition that kicks off in Fiji on April 7.
