The Vanuatu club champions have scoured the Solomon Islands for talent and this search has borne fruit with the signings of Kossa FC striker Moffat Deremoa, Zome Mars United defender Adika Maeta and national futsal squad member Jack Wetney.
The new trio will further increase the Solomon Island contingent at the club, which already stood at five players.
Batram Suri, Nelson Sale, Kidston Billy, Richard Anisua and Mostyn Sanga all starred for Amical in the National Super League, which Amical won to qualify for the O-League – an OFC competition featuring the region’s best clubs.
The side’s recruitment drive is not over yet.
Amical are also reportedly after the signatures of former Hekari United duo Alick Maemae and Stanley Waita.
If both players do sign, they will not have to wait long to face their former team.
Amical have been drawn to meet defending champions Hekari, from Papua New Guinea, in the opening match of their O-League campaign on the weekend of October 23-24 in Port Moresby.
They will go on to play Solomon side Koloale FC and Fiji’s Lautoka FC in their other matches in Group A.
They have taken over Vanuatu’s O-League mantle from Tafea FC, who represented the country in the 2009-10 competition.
