Mansale who was the play maker last year when Vanuatu Beach soccer team beat Solomon Islands in Gold Coast in the Asia Pacific Cup, sustained a minor injury to his right foot after a clash with Solomon Islands midfielder Nicholas Muri in just 3 minutes of the game.
“We have faced a lot of challenges here in Noumea and to play the game today against New Caledonia without Don Mansale is not a good news for the whole team.” Said Wilson August.
“I am very disappointed but I trust my 10 players to perform well against the host today.”
