The slimmest of margins separated the Red Roosters from their closest rivals Erakor Golden Star as they ended the season with 30 and 29 points respectively.
Goals from Nikola Vislic, Kensi Tangis and Francois Sakama all contributed to what proved a hugely emotional victory for club president Jean Yves Chabod, who becomes the first to preside over a club with four titles in a row.
“We have won our fourth league title overall and I know what it feels like. It’s been a long season and there’s a lot of merit in winning the title,” Chabod says.
“We competed all season with great opponents like Erakor Golden Star and Tafea FC and that’s why there is so much merit in winning the title again.
“We’ve had a great run.”
Chabod says the players and coaches have been rewarded for the hard work they’ve put in throughout the season.
“A special thank you goes to our faithful supporters.”
Amicale will be joined by runners-up Erakor Golden Star and third placed Tafea FC in the VFF National Super League competition which gets underway in May 2014.
The winner of the national competition will qualify for the 2015 OFC Champions League.
