2015 OFC Champions League semi-finalists Ba FC were first to claim a berth in the Fiji Football Association’s annual Inter-District Championship (IDC) premier division semi-finals after beating Rewa 2-1 at Churchill Park in Lautoka yesterday.

The Men in Black claimed top spot in Group B with a game in hand after securing two wins, and will play their final group match against Dreketi today. Rewa will play the defending champions Labasa this evening and will need at least a draw to progress alongside their rivals Ba.

In Group A Lautoka is leading with four points from two matches, having beaten Suva 2-0 before drawing against Tavua. The Sugar City side play their final match against Nadi and are chasing points to see them through to the semi-finals.

In the senior division, Nadroga have confirmed their place in the semi-finals after an impressive 5-2 win over Rakiraki, while Group A will come down to the final match to confirm their semi-finalists with the four sides, Navua, Seaqaqa, Tailevu Naitasiri and Nadogo, all within catching distance of each other.
