Champions League duo make bright start to TSL

OFC Champions League 2018 quarter finalists Solomon Warriors and Marist FC made bright starts to the 2018 TSL Champoinship last week with both notching comprehensive wins on opening day.

Warriors kicked off the action with a 5-0 victory over Real Kakamora FC, with their participation in the regional competition giving Moses Toata’s side a head start in the fitness stakes over their opponents.

For Marist, 90 consistent minutes of football and a goal in either half from veteran Abraham Iniga, helped them see off FC Guadalcanal.

Two further matches were played on Sunday with KOSSA and Western United drawing their encounter 2-2, while Malaita Kingz made short work of Henderson Eels to secure a 4-0 victory.
