Fiji Football Association is looking forward to kick-off the 2016 National Club Championship tomorrow at Fiji Football Association Academy in Ba.

Twelve teams will compete in four pools during the group stages throughout the weekend for a place in the semi-finals on Monday.

“All together we will have 12 matches in group stages and 6 matches will be played this Saturday and 6 matches will be played on Sunday followed by finals and semi-finals on Monday,” Fiji FA competition manager Amitesh Pal said.

All eyes will be on the competitive Group A where 4R Electrical Club will have to compete with Suva’s Civic Football Club and Nadroga’s Kulukulu Youth Football Club for a chance at Monday’s fixtures.

Group C will see Agriculture Football Club take on Press Football Club and Lokia Football Club while Gandhi Football Club, FC City United and Blue Football Club compete for the Group D spot in the semi-finals. Bureta Football Club will compete with Nailaga Football Club in Group B after Greenstar Football Club withdrew from the competition.

Group C will kick-off fixtures with Lokia Football Club taking on Press Football Club at 12:15pm on Saturday.

The final will be played at 3pm on Monday 12 December.
