In Tahiti’s Ligue 1 Vini ladder leaders AS Dragon had to settle for a 3-3 draw with AS Pirae at the end of a dramatic clash, which saw Dragon surrender a 3-1 lead after being reduced to 10 men just before half-time.

AS Tamarii Temanava continued their surge up the ladder with a third consecutive victory, edging past Pueu.

After suffering a first-up loss to Suva in Round 1 of Fiji’s Digicel Premier League, defending champions Lautoka delivered a powerful reminder of their ability by putting six goals on Navua in a 6-2 victory at Churchill Park.

The lopsided match was an aberration in an otherwise closely contested round of action in Fiji, with Nadi’s 2-0 win over Nadroga – thanks to a goal in each half from Rahul Krishna – the next biggest scoreline.

Labasa and Rewa couldn’t be split in a 1-1 draw, while a 0-0 stalemate played out at ANZ Stadium between Tailevu Naitasiri and Nasinu.
