The Oceania Football Confederation joins the New Caledonia football community in mourning the passing of Emilien Koki, who left us on Friday 19 July aged 71 following a long illness.

Koki, a former member of the FCF Conseil Fédéral and the board of directors of the Comité Provincial Nord de Football, was an emblematic member of the club US Wawilu de Houaïlou (USH).

Those who had the fortune of crossing paths with this devoted football fan will remember him for his kindness, dedication, wisdom, both on and off the field.
FCF President Steeve Laigle said: “A great man of football has left us. He gave so much to football, especially in the north, and brought so much to the youth of his region.”
