FIFA.com: After some dramatic rises in June due to the stunning results from the OFC Nations Cup in Adelaide, there were only minor movements in the latest FIFA rankings for July 2004.

Only Solomon Islands and Fiji moved up, two places each to 128 and 131 respectively and inching closer to Tahiti on 122 and usurping the french territory as the top island nation in Oceania for the first time in years.

After breaking back into the top fifty in June, Oceania’s top ranked nation Australia slumped three places to 52. New Zealand, Tahiti and Papua New Guinea each dropped a few places while Vanuatu, Samoa, Tonga, New Caledonia, Cook Islands and American Samoa remained unchanged from the June rankings.
