Sanma Provincial Government secretary general Joel Path is the first vice-chairman while the role of second vice-chairman goes to Luganville Municipality town clerk Peter Sakita.
Maltock says the groundwork for the competition can now kick-off following the announcement of the LOC members.
“A total of eight teams of the highest level are going to attend this year’s OFC U-17 World Cup qualifier, which will be held on Santo Island from April 17-27 and the work to ensure the event’s smooth running starts now.
“This will be the second time Santo will host an OFC competition after the 1998 Melanesian Cup was hosted there in Chapuis Stadium. I am sure we will work hard and prepare well ahead of this important competition.”
Also joining the LOC are George Regenvanu, Harry Atisson, Sandra Andrew, Asiel Tarisa, Kathy Thomson, Manjue Kenneth, Ian Banihuri, Esther Tasso, Nasse Carlo, Herve Malere and a Vanuatu Police representative.
