The OFC Beach Soccer Championship is being held at the University of New Caledonia in Nouméa, from 31 August to 2 September.
With Tahiti having qualified as hosts of the World Cup, OFC has a second opportunity to impress in the discipline, with the final team to qualify set to be either four-time champions Solomon Islands, perennial runners-up Vanuatu or championship hosts New Caledonia.
The tournament will take the form of a round-robin championship where the team with the most points after the final day’s action will go on to join Netherlands, Argentina and El Salvador in Group B at the World Cup.
The draw was conducted on Thursday, 22 August at the OFC Headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand by the OFC Secretariat and reveals the order of play as the three nations vie for their ticket to Tahiti.
