LIVE UPDATES:

1′- The game is underway with both sides closing the ball down quickly in midfield

7′ – Grant Young hits the cross bar for Auckland City with a stinging effort

9′ – Keryn Jordan breask free but tries to pass the ball across the goal and the ball nearly trickles in to the far corner. Goal kick.

13′- Not much in it at this point. Auckland has dominated the early posession but have failed to capitalise on any chances.

18′ – AS Manu Ura have been hitting a lot of long balls and look dangerous around the box. It seems like their gameplan is to win flick ons and hope something drops for them.

22′ – John Nionsaba is through on goal for Auckland and is all alone but the linesman calls him back for offside. A very close call.

25′– Joel Matthews has nice interchange and hits a sweet left footed shot but it’s straight at the the AS Manu Ura goalkeeper.

28′ – AS Manu Ura continue to play long from the back and are competing well in the air.

29′ – Auckland have dominated the opening 30 minutes of this match but can’t seem to break this Manu Ura defence. Manu Ura will be happy with the clean sheet.

Neither coach will be overly happy with the first half performance. Colin Tuaa will be desperate for his side to penetrate the AS Manu Ura defence more in the second half while Teivitau Pito will be pleased with his sides cleansheet but dissapointed they havent manged to create more in the attacking third. Manu Ura goalkeeper Daniel Tapeta has been outstanding in the first half and will take some beating tonight.

47′- Billy Mataitai latches on to a long ball and bursts through the middle of the Auckland defence on a breakaway and puts his shot just to the right of Tamati Williams post. Good chance.
