The match kicks off

8′ GOAL!!! Vanuatu 1 – Tuvalu 0: Vanuatu score against the run of play when Jean Kaltak shows good pace to break down the right and slides the ball past goalkeeper Jelly Selau
9′ YELLOW CARD: Jean Robert Yelou is cautioned for Vanuatu
12′ Liva hooks a volley from the edge of the box towards the Vanuatu goal but it loops over the bar
16′ Kaltak has a great chance to score his second but keeper Selau makes a good save with his left boot
19′ Vanuatu have another good opportunity when Eddison Stephen finds himself one-on-one with Selau but spurns the chance
21′ Filiamy Nikiau runs onto a long ball down the right for Vanuatu and smashes a close-range shot straight at Selau
23′ Vanuatu’s Michell Kaltak is played in down the left but again the strike is not good enough to beat Selau
26′ Jean Kaltak gets behind the Tuvalu defence but is pulled back for offside
29′ Tuvalu have not let their heads drop since the goal and are still right in the match
