Chinese backline resisted a persistent Korean Republic attacking threats throughout the first half. However, the flood gates opened after the break and Naming Yeti started the scoring from close range int he 50th minute, and Son Hwa Yeon’s brace came shortly after to put the game out of reach.
Jang Chang then made it 4-0, her third goal of the tournament.
