Sky Television will provide television coverage of the FIFA Club World Cup 2006 for New Zealand audiences as Auckland City take on Al-Ahly of Egypt in their opening competition fixture on December 10th.
Auckland City’s final NZFC fixture before departing for Japan ended in a 2-2 draw as Youngheart Manawatu pushed the defending champions all the way. Al-Ahly’s final preparation match ended in a 5-1 victory over Olympic Saturday, a win that put Al-Ahly at the top of their domestic championship.
