I’ki, a shark, was revealed at a live show on Friday featuring players from the Tiki Toa, who will represent Oceania as the tournament’s hosts.
Four members of the Tiki Toa squad are currently refining their skills in Switzerland with technical advisor Angelo Schirinzi’s club side the Sable Dancers in the Swiss Championship.
Tearii Labaste, Heimanu Taiarui, Heiarii Tavanae and Marama Amau left for Switzerland at the end of April and are set to return to Tahiti on 27 August to compete their preparations for the World Cup.
