Heading into the round four of the Papua New Guinea’s semi-professional competition, the club is yet to show their discipline, their style of football, their best players and of course who their real supporters are.
Coached by former soccer player, soldier and reputable coach in Peter Gunemba the team is yet to find a winning formula.
After coming of a week break the Lae boys will be travelling up to Madang to face the Madang boys. This game should be a tough one as both teams looking at registering their first win.
In Port Moresby four POM based teams will lock horns at Bomana Correctional Services Training Oval on Saturday.
FC POM had the match in the bag last weekend but gutted themselves by letting it slipped away. With them now facing Oro this weekend they have to polish some of their areas of play to face Oro who have that winning spirit after beating Admiralty 1-0.
With Jacob Sabua and Liem Kohu dictating play in the middle under the leadership of Ian Yanum the Oro boys will give the City boy a hard time.
After a disappointing round last weekend especially for their fans, Admiralty will now face the defending champion Hekari United this weekend and the Manusians will be looking at containing David Muta and Emmanuel Simon in the middle to secure a win for their fans.
Hekari United remains the only undefeated team in the Papua New Guinea semi-professional competition, the Telikom National Soccer League.
