Italian goalkeeper Giacomo Ratto and Spanish defender Adrian Medina were seen training with the squad at the Fiji Football Academy in Vatuwaqa, Suva this week.
Ratto has experience playing in Spain, Italy and Switzerland, while Medina has played in the youth ranks for Spanish side Panama.
The duo’s appearance in Fiji coincides with the opening of the Fiji Football Transfer and Registration window.
Fiji FA CEO Bob Kumar says the window opened on Monday and will close on 31 March, with players seeking transfer from one district association or club only permitted to do so during this period.
“We request that all applications be processed without delay and if any request cannot be processed for whatever reasons, this must be communicated to the player in writing with a copy to Fiji FA within seven days,” Kumar explains.
With such a short time period for transfers, Kumar has urged all clubs and players to make their requests and have them approved as soon as possible to prevent any undue delays.
