Suva will not compete in this years Fiji Football Associaion Nationcla Club Championships after failing to meet the needs regulations.

Suva, who are one of Fiji’s largest associations are out of the annual tournament after posting an incomplete 2007 local season and failing to comply with the tournaments
registration rules.

The draw was made at the Fiji FA Headquarters in Suva yesterday and Fiji FA Chief Executive Officer Bob Kumar said that clubs should be more professional this season.

“It was hard for them as a district to be represented,” said Kumar. “They have to complete their club games and register in time in order to be represented. In this case Suva had
not done that so I can say it is hard luck against them.”

“We urge clubs to work with us especially in time for management to have good football,” he added.

Fiji FA will also be responsible in appointing referees controlling each match.

He said unregistered players would face a fine of $300.

The Fiji FA Club Championship will kick-off this weekend with the first match between League Sports and Barbarians at the Vodafone Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori
