A goal to Myanmar’s Aung Thu in the 21st minute and a brace for Than Paing sealed the victory for the home side, who will also be making their maiden appearance at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand this year.
It was a disappointing end to the first leg of the Fiji U-20 side’s Asian Tour, after an opening 1-0 loss to the same side was followed by a 0-0 draw with Myanmar’s U-22 squad.
Fiji U-20 now travel on to Malaysia where they have lined up matches against the national U-22 and U-19 teams.
