After moving to New Zealand with his family in 2004 Jordan became a prolific goal scorer for the Navy Blues, netting 61 times in 79 matches for the club.
Along the way he helped them to three ASB Premierships, two OFC Champions League titles and was part of two FIFA Club World Cups in 2006 and 2009.
Jordan is still the only player to score a hat-trick in two separate OFC Champions League finals and, goal for goal, remains the most prolific striker in the competition’s history.
In the 2013-14 season, six months after his death, he was voted as the ASB Premiership Player of the Decade and slotted into the Team of the Decade alongside luminaries such as Roy Krishna, Benjamin Totori, Ivan Vicelich and Albert Riera.
Jordan had returned to South Africa in more recent years to continue his treatment, but sadly passed away on 21 October, 2013.
