Bodden Town are the team who have travelled the furthest to compete the first OFC President’s Cup.
A long journey which had seen them flying almost 15,000km in four different cities to eventually land in Auckland yesterday.
The team departed from Cayman Islands on Tuesday 11 November from Owen Roberts Airport to their first destination Miami in the United States.
The following flight brought them from the United States East Coast to the West Coast in Los Angeles after a six and a half hours flight.
After a three hour stopover in Los Angeles Airport, the team began its final leg to eventually land in the City of Sails.
Bodden Town’s OFC President’s Cup kicks off on Wednesday 19 November where they will take on Singapore U-23 at 7.30pm, Trusts Arena.
