Coach Moise Poida was delighted to be working with the squad.
“As head coach of the national senior team I would like to thank Vanuatu Football Federation and Port Vila Football Association for their support of the team ahead of the OFC Nations Cup,” Poida says.
“I would also like to thank the clubs for allowing the players to come here for training.”
Poida says that although he has some players to work with a number of others on his list remain with their clubs in Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Solomon Islands as they prepare for the 2016 OFC Champions League.
“I know that the Papua New Guinea tournament will not be easy for us,” he says.
Vanuatu have been drawn alongside New Zealand, Fiji and Solomon Islands and will open their OFC Nations Cup campaign agianst Solomon Islands on 29 May.
