The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) wishes to advise that a decision has been made to enforce simultaneous kick offs for the fixtures scheduled on Match Day Three of the OFC U-20 Championship in Tahiti.

The decision comes with the principles of fair play and the sporting integrity of the competition in mind and was made following the results of Match Day Two, with the action on the final day of the tournament destined to determine the winner.

The games between New Caledonia and New Zealand, and Tahiti and Fiji will now both kick off at 18H30 local time (17H30 NZL T/16H30 FIJ T/15H30 NCL T).

The match between New Caledonia and New Zealand will be played at Stade Paea, while the game between Tahiti and Fiji will be at Stade Mahina.

Should two teams be level on points at the end of tomorrows fixtures, the winner will be determined by the side with the greater goal difference, and if still not separated the number of goals scored in the tournament.

Tahiti and New Caledonia head into the final day of play in pole position with four points each from two games

Tahiti will be expected to beat winless Fiji, while New Caledonia currently have a superior goal difference, but will face a tough New Zealand side in their final match.
