Three of the four current executive committee members will also remain for another four years after securing their roles in the elections, held on December 14 at the FFAS headquarters at Pago Park.
The trio consists of vice-president Sandra Herrera of the PanSa club, Reverand Ioane Evagelia of Utulei Youth and Saili Ott of Black Roses.
The newest board member to win election is Mitch Shimasaki of Green Bay. He replaces Silasila Samuelu of Pago Youth.
Only two contenders ran for the position of president – Godinet and Levaula Vailoa Tanuvasa of Vailoatai Youth – while there were eight candidates for the executive committee.
Godinet was pleased to be re-elected and was quick to offer his gratitude to those who have supported him.
“I want to thank everyone for giving me their trust for the next four years,” he said.
“This association is not the work of one person but of all the club presidents. To continue all the good work we have achieved in the past four years we need to work together.”
All four committee members thanked the delegates for installing them in their positions and stated their intentions to work hard for FFAS.
