The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) would firstly like to thank our worldwide audience for their passionate interest and patience in receiving ‘live updates’
broadcast directly from the Toleafoa J.S. Blatter Playing Fields in Apia, Samoa.

OFC will again attempt to bring you action from today’s games in the women’s tournament as it happens, and thanks you in advance for your understanding should any
delays occur.

Today’s matches are as follows:

*all kick-off times GMT -13

1500:     Tonga v New Caledonia

              American Samoa v Fiji

1800:     Cook Islands v Solomon Islands

2030:     Tahiti v Samoa

Today’s action hosts the first fixtures in the Women’s Group B – with Tonga taking on New Caledonia, and Tahiti against Samoa.

The Samoan women carry the weight of a nation on their shoudlers, with the fortunes of their men’s team hinging on other results, as the Samoan locals look to get
behind a team that will go all the way.

French-speaking nations Tahiti and New Caledonia are somewhat of an unknown quantity, but the New Caledonian midfield carries an impressive reputation and will surely
put Tonga’s no-nonsense play to the test.

Group A action continues with American Samoa looking to continue their impressive displays so far against the might of Fiji, and Cook Islands will look
for their first win against Solomon Islands – who are without their inspirational captain Vanessa Inifiri.

OFC look forward to providing up to date and precise information that will bring the matches as close to you as possible!
