The line-up includes players from 10 clubs and the best represented are Ba, who were crowned Vodafone Fiji FACT champions on Sunday.
Eleven of Ba’s players are selected while beaten finalists Navua and semi-finalists Lautoka share the second-highest number of squad members with seven each.
Fiji Football Association (FFA) Technical Director Saiyad Ali says the plan is to gauge players capable of donning the national jumper at the OFC champs, which will be held in Fiji from August 9 to 14.
A panel of coaches – consisting of Hussein Sahib, James Muir and Tama Vosuqa – has been named to conduct the three-day trial and OFC futsal project manager Scott Gilligan will come to the country in July, when the squad is expected to be finalised.
FFA vice-president Anil Sharma will be team director, while Krishneel Sharma is set to be the manager.
