Going into week 11, the Super Ligue in New Caledonia is heating up as play-off spots remain up for grabs. Mount-Gilds took positive steps towards making the cut with a win against Thio this week while Hienghène sent out a clear warning message thrashing Témala 1-9.

The loss leaves Témala bottom of the table on 10 points. Meanwhile Baco is struggling to make the playoffs after their loss to Lössi. Baco were competitive in the first half but were unable to fend off the constant attacks and eventually succumbed 5-1. The floodgates opened towards the end of the game with Leon Taïn, Jean-Marc Hmaloko, James Hoot and Paul Ozika all getting on the score sheet Lössi.

In the closest contest of the round, Magenta beat Mouli 5-3. The win takes Magenta to 35 points and second on the table behind AS Mont-Dore while Mouli is languishing at second to bottom on 14 points.

The closest race is between Lössi, Hienghène and Thio who sit third, fourth and fifth on the table with just five points separating them. Hienghène will be the team to watch in round 11 after such a convincing victory Témala at the weekend.
