For one member of the New Zealand Women’s U-17 national team, the Future Stars Invitational tournament is just another notch on her international belt.

Annalie Longo is only 16, yet has already represented New Zealand at the U-20 and Women’s World Cup.

 

She is New Zealand’s youngest ever full football international and has this week been anchoring the New Zealand midfield against world class opposition from Germany, Australia and the
USA.

Longo is one of the key cogs in the wheel of the U-17 team with her ecperience at senior level proving vital for the young squad. the Three Kings United Player enjoys having
a leadership role in the team and is looking forard to sharing her World Cup experience with her teamates come October.

OFC found a space in Longo’s busy schedule to ask her a few questions about confidence, travel experiences and future plans.
