The match kicks off
1′ Solomon Islands charge out of the blocks straight from kick off with striker Annie Bwakolo breaking down the right and hitting a shot that Tonga goalkeeper Lupe Likiliki has to beat away for a corner
3′ The Solomons are continuing the pressure in these opening stages and win a corner but can’t create a chance from it
4′ It’s still all the Solomons as Ileem Pegi crosses but no one can get on the end of it
6′ Tonga are struggling to get some decent possession and escape from their half
9′ The Solomons have another corner but it is hit too far and goes out for a goal kick
10′ Tonga captain Keti Fatai breaks forward and the attack leads to a long range shot from Emelita Moala which doesn’t cause goalkeeper Betty Sade much trouble
12′ GOAL!!! Solomon Islands 1, Tonga 0: Pegi dances her way through several challenges before poking a shot underneath goalkeeper Likiliki
14′ Bwakolo is showing why she is regarded as one of the Solomon’s best players with some fine touches and strong runs down the right
16′ The goal appears to have sparked Tonga into life and they are pressing forward with more urgency now
18′ It is now the Solomons who are finding it hard to get the ball and break forward
21′ The last few minutes have been a lot more even and the play has settled down after a fast-paced opening 20 minutes
23′ Bwakolo goes one on one with Likiliki but can’t find a way past the Tonga goalkeeper
23′ Bwakolo is hurt in the challenge and play is held up while she receives treatment
24′ The match restarts after the hold up. It doesn’t look good for Bwakolo who is carried off on a stretcher
25′ The Solomons are down to 10 players for the moment but that does not seem to have put them off their stride

43′ There is a scramble right in front of the Solomon goal but somehow they keep the ball out
44′ Pegi breaks away again but can’t get enough power in her shot to beat Likiliki

52′ The ball falls for Tonga’s Heilala Loto’aniu in the box and she makes room for a shot but it is blocked by several Solomon players
54′ The Solomons are trying to regain their momentum of the first half and spend a couple of minutes at the Tongan end
58′ Tonga’s Fololeni Siale hits a powerful shot from the edge of the area which Sade dives low to save
59′ Sade is called into action again, this time to make a routine save from a Laite Si’i Manu long-range strike

64′ Tonga have just under half an hour to get back into the match but, while putting in lots of effort, are showing no signs of creating any meaningful chances
